ABOUT OUR BRISBANE BASED TUTOR

SUPERVISING LOCATION MANAGER JACOB LIVERMORE

After obtaining his masters in architecture, Jacob found the pen and paper would not suffice his creative hunger, so he threw himself into the world of film. Bold in his aspirations, Jacob produced his first feature film The Little Things in 2010, which received a string of awards in the US, including Grand Jury Winner at Alaska International Film Awards, Best Film at The Indie Fest, Best Film at Maryland International Film Festival and Best Film at Toronto Film and Video Awards. Consequently, Jacob found himself as Director's Assistant and right hand man to PJ Hogan (Muriel's Wedding, My Best Friend's Wedding,) for the 2011 production of Mental.

Jacob gained experience in an assortment of production roles across hundreds of television commercials and numerous movies and television series. He is highly experienced as a Location Manager with over 15 years in the role and 20 years in the screen industry. Recent project highlights include A Savage Christmas, In Our Blood, The Wilds, Troppo, Young Rock and Harrow. Jacob just completed work as a Supervising Location Manager on the live action feature film Allen, produced by Ludo, the team behind Bluey.
